We are using proven blood lines that have won at the highest levels in the show ring. They have been bred for outstanding conformation, movement, color and disposition. Our horses have great bloodlines and have many world champions and world champion producing horses in their pedigrees. The horses here at Darkstar Farm are not only well pedigreed but they are great examples of their pedigrees as well. We are very proud of the horses we are producing here and equally proud to offer some of these horses to other miniature horse enthusiasts. The photos used on this site are not professional photos. Instead they are snap shots aimed at showing the horses true conformation. Additional photos may be avaialable upon request.

Mares & Fillies
In an effort to stay a small miniature horse farm we have to occasionally offer some of our mares and fillies for sale. These mares are far from culls and are breeding sound. With limited space we also offer some of our best fillies for sale. Many of the best farms have Orion bred mares in their broodmare band for the high caliber foals that they produce. These mares and fillies have been priced to sell and in no way do their prices reflect the actual quality of horse that they are.

Stallions & Colts
We are very proud to offer some of our stallions and colts to the descriminating breeder or show farm. These horses are excellent representauions of the royal boodlines that they carry. You can show them and win some National and World titles or keep them on your farm and produce some high quality show prospects. Many of these colts are grandsons of Orion Light Vant Huttenest. It is rare to find horses for sale this close to Orion himself. These stallions and colts are priced well below their actual worth.
